Coimbatore: Satchidananda Jothi Niketan MHSS and CSI HSS emerged the boys’ and girls’ champions of the SDAT district level schools hockey tournament at the Coimbatore Institute of Technology grounds here on Friday.
The results: Boys: Final: SJN MHSS 5 (Prabhu 2, Vineet, Mothil Prabhu, Koushik) bt Devanga HSS 0. Semifinals: Devanga HSS bt GHSS (Madukkarai) 4-1 (via tie-breaker); SJN MHSS 3 bt Adwaith G.N Sam MHSS 0.
Girls: Final: CSI HSS 5 (Sangeethaveni 4, Esther Brenda) bt Presentation Convent MHSS 2 (Afrin 2). Semifinals: Presentation Convent 2 bt SJN 1; CSI 4 bt GHSS (Madukkarai) 0.
